OID200 Applications

The IFM OID200 is a cylindrical M30 photoelectric laser distance sensor using time-of-flight with a visible red-light spot (650 nm, laser class 2) for easy alignment. It reliably detects objects largely independent of colour or surface up to 2 m, with adjustable background suppression to 20 m. It provides two complementary switching outputs and an IO-Link interface for parameter setting, diagnostics and process data, suiting level, presence and positioning tasks in factory automation and material handling.
