The IFM O5D100 laser distance sensor detects objects and distances up to 2 m for positioning, presence and level tasks in packaging, handling and assembly. Time-of-flight measurement with background suppression reliably detects glossy and dark surfaces even at oblique angles, and the display with pushbuttons allows precise switch-point setting. IO-Link communication simplifies parameter setup and diagnostics on the line.
