The OGS381 is the transmitter unit of an infrared through-beam sensor system designed for the food and beverage industry. It emits an 860 nm infrared beam reaching an associated receiver over distances up to 15 m for reliable detection of objects, even transparent or dark ones. The rugged stainless steel housing with protection ratings up to IP 69K withstands high-pressure washdown and hygienic cleaning, while a green LED indicates operation. The compact rectangular housing with M18 thread simplifies mounting in tight production lines.
