AC1401 Applications

The IFM AC1401 is an AS-Interface gateway used to connect the AS-i sensor/actuator level to a PROFINET controller for fast, reliable data exchange. It is suited for machine and line control where distributed I/O is wired on AS-i and reported to a PLC over PROFINET or Modbus TCP. The colour display shows the status of all AS-i slaves for quick diagnosis, a quick-setup menu simplifies configuration and commissioning, and the gateway is freely programmable to IEC 61131-3 with CODESYS 2.3 for on-board logic.
