The IFM IG5539 is an M18 x 1 threaded inductive proximity sensor in an 80 mm brass housing (white-bronze coated) for non-contact detection of metal targets in harsh industrial environments. It is flush mountable and offers a 5 mm sensing range with a complementary (normally open / normally closed antivalent) PNP switching output, giving both signals from one device. Powered from 10...30 V DC and connected via an A-coded M12 connector, it provides reverse-polarity and short-circuit protection, IP 67 rating and four yellow status LEDs across a -25...80 °C range.
