    Allen-Bradley 440N-G02143 Ferrogard Non-Contact Safety Interlock Switch — Ferrogard FRS21 GD2 stainless steel reed switch, 6m cable. The Allen-Bradley 440N-G02143 is a Guardmaster Ferrogard FRS21 GD2 non-contact safety interlock switch housed in stainless steel. It uses reed contact technology providing two normally closed safety contacts and one normally open auxiliary contact, rated 24V DC with a 1 A maximum switching current. The switch is supplied with a 6-meter integral cable for direct wiring into the safety circuit..

    440N-G02143 Applications

    The stainless steel housing makes this switch well suited to washdown, food and beverage, and other hygienic or corrosive environments where plastic bodies are unsuitable. As a coded magnetic non-contact device it tolerates guard misalignment and resists defeat with a spare actuator. Connect the two safety contacts through a monitoring safety relay or controller to form the guard interlock stop function, and use the auxiliary contact for indication or PLC status. The 6-meter flying lead simplifies installation where a connector is not required.
