The KI5038 is an M30 non-flush capacitive proximity sensor for non-contact detection of metals, liquids and bulk materials such as glass, water, ceramics and PVC. Working on the capacitive principle, it detects a wide range of media and its sensitivity is adjustable via potentiometer to suit the target and correction factor. It provides a PNP output with selectable normally open or normally closed function, a 15 mm sensing range and a yellow status LED. A robust PBT housing, 10...36 V DC supply and DIN valve plug connection suit level detection and material presence monitoring.
