KI5083 Applications

The IFM KI5083 is used for level detection of liquids and bulk solids, including through non-metallic tank and pipe walls. It is suited for full/empty point-level monitoring, dry-run protection and overflow prevention in process and packaging machinery. Setup is fast via pushbutton or IO-Link teach for the empty and full states, and IO-Link connectivity provides remote parameter setting, diagnostics and switch-point adjustment. The sensor is resistant to electrostatic discharge for stable operation.
