The Allen-Bradley 440R-GL2S2P is a Guardmaster GLP guard-locking safety relay. It runs from a 24V DC supply and accepts 1 dual-channel input plus 2 PNP proximity inputs, delivering OSSD safety-related semiconductor outputs with 1 N.C. solid-state auxiliary output through screw terminals. It is rated up to Performance Level d (EN ISO 13849-1) and SIL 2 (IEC 61508)..

    440R-GL2S2P Applications

    The 440R-GL2S2P GLP relay controls and monitors guard-locking interlock devices to keep an access door locked until hazardous motion has stopped. It reads a dual-channel safety input plus two PNP proximity signals to confirm guard and lock status. OSSD semiconductor safety outputs switch downstream loads, and a solid-state auxiliary output provides diagnostic signaling. Screw terminals with detachable clamps accept 0.2 to 2.5 mm2 wire for straightforward panel wiring. It suits machine guarding applications requiring up to PLd and SIL 2 integrity.
