It provides continuous emergency-stop coverage along a rope span of up to 30 m, with 3 normally-closed safety contacts and 1 normally-open auxiliary contact in a break-before-make configuration. The switch uses M20 conduit entries in a yellow die-cast alloy housing and is UL, TUV, CE, CCC, and EAC certified..

    440E-D13112 Applications

    The 440E-D13112 cable-pull switch delivers a continuous emergency-stop function along machinery, conveyors, and production lines where a person must be able to trip the stop from any point along the rope. Pulling the rope or a broken/slack rope opens the safety contacts and stops the machine. The 3 N.C. safety plus 1 N.O. auxiliary contact set with break-before-make action supports monitored safety circuits and status signaling.
