The Allen-Bradley 42EF-P2MPB-A2 is a RightSight polarized retroreflective photoelectric sensor with a visible red light source. It provides two complementary PNP light-on/dark-on switching outputs with IO-Link capability, a 100 mA maximum output current and a 1 ms response time.     42EF-P2MPB-A2 Applications

    The 42EF-P2MPB-A2 detects objects at a distance using a reflector, making it well suited to conveyor, packaging and material-handling detection tasks. Its polarized retroreflective design ignores reflections from shiny targets so it reliably senses reflective and wrapped products. Complementary PNP outputs allow both light-on and dark-on logic from one device, and IO-Link support enables parameter setup and diagnostics. The IP67 housing withstands washdown and dusty environments. The 2-meter cable simplifies wiring to control-panel inputs.
