The Allen-Bradley 42EF-P2KBB-F4 is a RightSight PHOTOSWITCH photoelectric sensor configured for polarized retroreflective sensing. It provides both sink (NPN) and source (PNP) outputs in dark-operate mode with a red indicator, and is IO-Link enabled.     42EF-P2KBB-F4 Applications

    The 42EF-P2KBB-F4 detects the presence or absence of objects at a distance using a reflector, making it well suited to conveyor, packaging and material-handling applications where target color or finish varies. Polarized retroreflective operation reduces false triggering from shiny targets. IO-Link support allows configuration and diagnostics over the sensor network. The M12 quick-disconnect pigtail simplifies installation and replacement.
