1797-PS2E2 Applications

This intrinsically-safe power supply feeds FLEX Ex I/O modules installed directly in Zone 1, 2 or 22 hazardous locations. It converts an 18-32V DC feed into four galvanically isolated, energy-limited output channels rated Ex de [ib] IIC T4, so field devices and I/O stay within safe energy limits without external barriers. The IP65/NEMA 7B housing and wide -20 to 70 C range suit demanding oil, gas and chemical process environments where explosive atmospheres are present.
