1794-APBDPV1 Applications

This FLEX I/O Profibus adapter links a bank of distributed 1794 FLEX I/O modules to a Profibus DP network, supporting the DP V1 protocol for acyclic parameter access alongside cyclic I/O data. It lets Profibus master systems read inputs and write outputs across FLEX I/O terminal bases mounted near field devices, reducing wiring in machine and process applications. Operating from 24V DC over a moderate temperature range, it suits control cabinets and skids. Now discontinued with no direct replacement, it is sourced mainly to maintain or expand existing Profibus-based FLEX I/O installations.
