1786-RPFM Applications

Extends ControlNet networks over fiber optic cable to reach distant nodes, cross areas of high electrical noise, or provide isolation between segments. The two fiber channels support ring and linear repeater topologies for resilient plant-wide networks. Fiber media eliminates ground-loop and EMI concerns common with copper, making it suitable for long runs between buildings or across large facilities. Note this module is a discontinued legacy product used to maintain or expand existing ControlNet fiber infrastructure.
