Allen-Bradley 1771-ID16 PLC-5 Isolated Input Module — 16-point 120V AC isolated input. The Allen-Bradley 1771-ID16 is a 16-point isolated input module for the 1771 PLC-5 I/O system rated for 120V AC. Each input point is isolated, allowing connection of inputs referenced to different sources. It mounts in a 1771 I/O chassis for use with PLC-5 processors and remote I/O adapters. This product is discontinued as of December 31, 2019, with repair services still available..

1771-ID16 Applications

The 1771-ID16 connects up to 16 isolated 120V AC field inputs such as pushbuttons, limit switches, and sensors to an Allen-Bradley PLC-5 controller. Point-to-point isolation lets each input reference a separate AC source, which is useful when signals originate from different power circuits. The module installs in a standard 1771 I/O chassis. As it is discontinued, migration to ControlLogix 1756 I/O is recommended for new projects, though repair services remain available.
