This CompactLogix 5370 L3 controller targets applications needing integrated motion alongside discrete and process control, such as packaging, converting, material handling and general machine automation. Its 8-axis CIP Motion support with kinematics enables coordinated multi-axis and delta or SCARA robotics. Dual embedded Ethernet ports with Device Level Ring allow a resilient linear or ring network without added switches. Use it for mid-tier OEM machines requiring EtherNet/IP connectivity to distributed I/O and drives while keeping a compact modular footprint and simple SD card program storage.
