1768-PB3 Applications

This DC input power supply energises a 1768 CompactLogix backplane from a 24V DC source, accepting 16.8 to 31.2V DC and supplying up to 3.5 A to the controller and adjacent 1768 modules. A separate user terminal offers a limited 24V DC feed for field devices. It suits panels already served by a 24V DC control bus, removing the need for a separate AC feed to the controller chassis and keeping the automation system on a single regulated DC supply.
