1756-N2 Applications

The 1756-N2 fills empty slots in a 1756 ControlLogix chassis, blanking off unused positions to protect exposed backplane connectors from dust and debris and to help maintain designed cooling airflow across installed modules. Using slot fillers in vacant slots supports the chassis environmental rating and keeps the assembly tidy for future expansion. It is a passive mechanical accessory with no electrical function, installed and removed like a standard ControlLogix module. Confirm quantity needed against the number of open slots in the chassis.
