1746-NR8 Applications

This resistance input module reads eight RTD or resistance sensors for the SLC 500 system, converting temperature and resistance measurements into data the processor can act on. It supports common RTD types for monitoring motors, bearings, ovens, and process fluids, with input isolation guarding against field noise. Housed in a 1746 chassis slot, it gives machine and process builders a dense, cost-effective temperature acquisition channel count in a single module. Suited to heat treatment, plastics, and other applications needing multipoint thermal monitoring.
