150-C30NBR Applications

The SMC-3 smart motor controller is a compact soft starter that ramps voltage to standard three-phase induction motors, reducing inrush current and mechanical stress during starting and stopping. This open-type, three-wire unit handles 30 amperes up to 480 volts AC and uses a 24 volt AC or DC control signal for easy integration with PLC and control logic. Selectable start times, current limit and soft-stop settings tailor performance to pumps, fans, conveyors and compressors, while integral overload protection safeguards the motor in industrial machine and process applications.
