1489-M1C100 Applications

This UL489 branch-circuit-rated miniature circuit breaker provides thermal-magnetic overcurrent and short-circuit protection in a single-pole, 10 amp configuration with a Type C trip curve. The C characteristic tolerates moderate inrush, making it well suited to mixed resistive and inductive loads such as small motors, transformers and control circuits. Rated up to 277V AC and 48V DC, it mounts on a DIN rail and offers finger-safe terminals. Because it is UL489 listed, it can be used as branch circuit protection in North American installations, not only supplementary protection.
