This UL Type E spacing adapter fits Allen-Bradley 140M-C and 140M-D frame motor protection circuit breakers, providing the terminal clearance required for UL Type E self-protected combination motor controller applications. It ensures proper line-side spacing so a single breaker can serve as branch-circuit protection without a separate fuse or disconnect, saving panel space in NEC-compliant motor starters. This item is discontinued; the engineering replacement is 140MT-C-TE.
