The IFM KI503A is a capacitive sensor certified for use in hazardous (dust Ex) areas. It is suited for level and presence detection of bulk solids and liquids in silos, hoppers and process vessels within ATEX Zone-22 environments. Its ATEX II 3D marking allows direct connection to the plant control without a switching amplifier, the sensing range is set easily via potentiometer, and the complementary NO/NC output plus clearly visible LED indication simplify integration and diagnostics in dusty industrial applications.
