AC2024 Applications
The IFM AC2024 AS-Interface AirBox is used for decentralised triggering of pneumatic cylinders and valve actuators directly at the machine. It is suited for distributed pneumatic control on assembly, handling and packaging machinery, combining an AS-i I/O module with integrated 3/2-way solenoid valves near the actuator. This decentralised approach improves energy efficiency, cuts installation and wiring complexity, and the module clips easily onto its lower part with M12 sensor inputs for fast mounting and servicing in wet environments.
