The IFM AC009S is an AS-Interface control cabinet safety module used to connect mechanical safety switches to an AS-i safety network. It is suited for E-stop, guard-door and interlock monitoring on machines using AS-i Safety at Work. It provides two safe inputs with cross-monitoring and two relay outputs, meets ISO 13849-1 Category 4 PLe and IEC 61508 SIL3, and uses powerful LEDs to show operation, switching status and errors. The space-saving DIN-rail housing wires quickly via screw terminals.
