GG712S Applications

The IFM GG712S is a fail-safe inductive sensor used to ensure machine safety in factory automation. It is suited for safe position and guard monitoring, end-position sensing of safety-relevant movements, and interlock functions where a safety rating is required. Certified to EN 60947-5-3, IEC 61508 SIL2 and ISO 13849-1 PLd, it needs no special actuator, provides two OSSD safety outputs, and connects to a safety PLC, safe AS-i modules or safe evaluation units for a complete safety function.
